Christmas Decorations Contest
Monday, December 2 - Sunday, December 22
Thatcher Pointe Subdivision
Attention Homeowners,
In the Spirit of Christmas, the HOA Board has decided to host a Christmas Decorations Contest️. There will be one winner for Barker, Hoover, and Winkler and two winners for Thatcher. Homes on each street will be judged based on originality and the most Christmas spirit. Winners will be announced December 23. Each winner will receive a monetary gift card for helping Thatcher Pointe be Merry and Bright this Christmas season.
In order to be considered for participation in this festive contest, homeowners must be in compliance with existing expectations of the covenant. This includes but is not limited to all trash containers, boats, trailers, or storable items must be kept out of plain sight.
The Board has revised the expectations for storage and placement for trash containers and all other items that may require storage in the neighborhood. The purpose of this adjustment is to ensure our neighborhood continues to be visually appealing for current and future homeowners. Please review the following clarification as it relates to the Board’s expectations for storage of trash containers and other items:
Trash containers must be stored out of plain sight. Plain sight is defined as a place that is clearly visible. Therefore, trash containers may be stored behind a fence, home, tall shrubs, or structures that prohibit the trash container to be in plain sight. Trash containers may be placed outside only for collection the evening before collection and must be secured to protect from animals or spillage. Trash containers must be removed from sight the same evening of collection.
Items that would typically be kept in storage must be stored out of plain sight or in the garage.
